Humanitarian Aid

Through the generosity and personal involvement of our dear friends in Germany and Austria, FAVOR regularly receives Aid Transports with all sorts of helpful and needed material. Food and clothing, computers and educational materials, toys, bicycles and baby carriages, wheelchairs and walkers, furniture, matresses and bedding are all carefully distributed by our volunteers.

FAVOR cares for kids

We are a not-for-profit organisation helping children, young people and families in need. Educational and training programs provide orphans and other disadvantaged youth with opportunities to succeed in life. Material and humanitarian aid initiatives redirect valuable resources to people who need them. Motivated volunteers willingly give their time and energy in service to those less fortunate, to “love our neighbours as ourselves.”

Hundreds of needy children were happy to receive nice backpacks full of school supplies from FAVOR volunteers. These materials, all the basic needs for a year’s schooling, were donated by our friends in Germany, Bucharest and Bacau.

In order to give these valuable donated items to students who really have need, we contacted some of the city’s most socially-challenged schools. In each school, teachers and administrators cooperated to compile a list of the most financially and socially challenged students. Most of these children do not have two parents at home, with either one or both of them having left the country.
